11U Select Team Information & Tryouts
Hello 11U Mosquito parents,
My name is Brett Palmer and I will be the head coach of the 11U Selects team for the 2025 season. This is my 3rd season helping to run the Selects program and I am excited to hit the ground running even sooner this season!
The tryouts will all be held at Optimist Park #2 Centre diamond on the following dates:
- Saturday May 24, 9-11am
- Saturday May 31, 9-11am
- Saturday June 7 (if necessary), 9-11am
Saturday mornings 9:00 to 11:00am will be the weekly Selects practice. There will be sporadic games scheduled throughout June and July. It will never interfere with house league, as that is the priority during the season! Once the Houseleague season is over, Selects will continue through August. There will be 2 local tournaments as well.
There will be an additional cost to cover umpires, uniforms & tournament fees.
Going forward, I will post any further Selects updates/info/tryout results to this TMBA website.
I encourage anyone who is interested in playing more competitive travel baseball over and above their house league team to try out. In the meantime, if you have any specific questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
